On February 10th, 2020 six-year-old Faye Marie Swetlik disappeared from her parent’s home in Cayce, South Carolina. The little girl’s body was found three days later on the property of her thirty-year-old neighbor Coty Taylor, who law enforcement found dead in his home. They suspect Taylor killed Swetlik and then committed suicide. Authorities say Swetlik had either been strangled or suffocated to death.

A gunman and six innocents are dead following a shooting near Molson Coors headquarters in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

UPDATE 5:40 pm ET — Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett (D) spoke to reporters and confirmed “multiple people…have died, including the shooter,” in the attack near Molson Coors headquarters. He said police were “continuing their sweep to be sure that nothing more was occurring.” More>>

Radio Journalist Aracely Alcocer Carmona Killed by Gunmen in Mexican Border City

A group of gunmen shot a radio personality outside her home in Ciudad Juarez, which abuts El Paso, Texas. The murder marks the second for a journalist in Mexico in 2020. Last year, the country suffered 11 similar homicides with most of the cases still unsolved.

The murder took place Tuesday evening in the Barreal neighborhood, the Crimes Against Women Unit of the Chihuahua Attorney General’s Office revealed. According to authorities, 37-year-old Aracely Alcocer Carmona, better known by her radio name “Barbara Greco,” was standing outside of her home with her father when a group of unknown gunmen shot her. South Carolina authorities announced a link Friday between the suspected homicide of a 6-year-old girl and the death of a 30-year-old man who lived in her family’s South Carolina neighborhood.

Cayce Department of Public Safety Sgt. Evan Antley said during a Friday news conference that he could not provide specifics about the relationship between the deaths of Faye Marie Swetlik and the neighbor, who was identified as Coty Scott Taylor. Police: 12-Year-Old Boy Saves Grandparents After Half Brother Stabs Them

A 12-year-old boy from Texas is being praised for his heroism for saving the lives of his great-grandmother and grandfather during an alleged stabbing attack Sunday, according to law enforcement.

The young boy’s half brother allegedly stabbed the grandparents in the head and neck as he sat in the backseat of a vehicle after learning he was unwelcome at their home due to his bad behavior, said Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.

While Lucian Adrian Johnston, 20, was in the midst of the attack, Sacha, 12, wrestled the knife from his hands and tossed it out of a widow of the moving vehicle. More>>
