Nashville Tennessee Only Abortion-Free for One Month, Planned Parenthood Will Resume Killing Babies

A Tennessee Planned Parenthood that employees say puts money ahead of patients plans to begin aborting unborn babies again in January.

The Nashville Planned Parenthood stopped doing abortions in early December for “a period of quality improvement.” A spokeswoman indicated that they were struggling with staffing changes, including finding a new abortionist. More>>

New laws go into effect in 2019

Tennessee has 31 new laws that take effect in 2019.

One new law will require the Tennessee Department of Health to accept opioid abuse allegations, and prohibits the firing of a person who reports suspected opioid abuse. 

“This requires the Department of Health to set up a toll-free telephone and web-based hotline to hear reports of opioid abuse or diversion,” said Senator Paul Bailey.  “It calls for entities that prescribe, dispense, or handle opioids to display a sign or to notify employees in writing about the hotline.” More>>
